Born somewhere in China, Jet was a martial arts prodigy as a child, becoming a master at the Chinese National Sport of Wu Shu by the age of six. He was a member of the first-ever Wu Shu team to tour the west, performing for even president Richard Nixon. By the age of eighteen, Jet had won five Mainland Wu Shu Champioships.
